Knit and Chatter

Our delightful weekly group where you can bring along your knitting (or crochet) and enjoy a couple of hours of friendly chat over a hot drink and cake.

This is a friendly social group where everyone is welcome. We have people from a variety of backgrounds and ages. People come with their own knitting or crochet projects, there’s always someone who can help you out if you have a question about the stitching or pattern. Over the years, the regulars have become a strong, core little group who look out for each other, check in with each other in between meetings and generally give each other a little bit of support.

The group is supported by one of our Cliik Heroes who volunteers for a couple of hours each week, making sure that everyone is well looked after, making the drinks and ensuring that there’s cake on hand. If you would like to be one of our Cliik Heroes, get in touch.

The group is free to attend, however, most people choose to make a small donation into the pot to Cliik to help pay for the space, the drinks and cake.
