The Talk Shop
The Talk Shop is a warm, welcoming space where you can pop in for a friendly chat, make friends, get a bit of help or advice, or simply sit a while and have a warm drink.
The Talk Shop is our small but beautifully formed space that provides local people with somewhere to connect with each other and with our community. We have tea, coffee, hot chocolate, a selection of cold drinks and sometimes even some cake and biscuits.
Open Monday-Wednesday from 11.00AM – 3.00PM with occasional other times for special events and exhibitions.
Book Swap: Check out our popular bookshelf where you can help yourself to a new read, take it home and bring back another book that you have finished reading.
Plants: We have a small selection of house plants lovingly nurtured by our Cliik Heroes, these are for sale or you can do a plant swap.
Art and Exhibitions: The Talk Shop is well-known for its regular and diverse variety of art exhibitions. The exhibitions, hosted to support emerging artists in the area, also provide a rich and varied range of art here in our neighbourhood. Check out more details on our website.
