What We Will Do

• Sustain and Enhance The Talk Shop: We will maintain The Talk Shop as a vital community hub, expanding its activities and making it more accessible to all residents.

• Pop-Up Events: We will organise pop-up events across North Stonehouse, specifically targeting minority and disadvantaged groups to ensure their voices are heard and needs met.

• Community Connector Lead: We will employ a Community Connector Lead to drive engagement, recruit volunteers, coordinate events, and manage publicity.

• Collaboration: We will work closely with partner agencies, including housing associations like Sovereign, to amplify our impact and address local needs.

• Volunteer Development: We will create opportunities for volunteer development, empowering residents to contribute to their community.

• Employment Opportunities: We will create local employment opportunities.

• Regular activities, exhibitions and ongoing dialogue will be used to gather community feedback.

• We will continue to operate a “Warm Space” during winter months.
