‘Love Stonehouse’
Tuesday, 28th October, 6 – 8PM
‘Love Stonehouse’ – An exhibition of 40 photographs where people share their love for the community where we live, Stonehouse.
At the recent Union Street Party in September, we asked 40 people to write a simple word or message sharing some thing that they love or appreciate about the neighbourhood where we live and work. The answers speak for themselves – the diversity, creativity and community spirit of the people and local organisations makes Stonehouse the true heart of Plymouth.
The exhibition of 40 portrait photographs taken by Arnet Donkin, highlights the diversity of our community, the importance of fostering a sense of ‘belonging’, a neighbourhood that has a thriving grassroots movement of energy and activism.
Follow Cliik Community on Facebook and/or social media where we’ll be publishing one photo a day on our story for 40 days.
Do you have an idea for an exhibition at The Talk Shop? We’d love to hear from you. Get in touch by emailing us at connect@cliik.community with a brief outline of your idea or project and something about yourself, your work or organisation that you are involved with.
